Looks like I haven't stopped in since Thanksgiving to say hello.  Decided to do a little recap of some of my favorite outfits of 2015 because I always appreciate an easy way to look back in the future.

Do you have a favorite?  With my new work schedule and the move, I have been having trouble trying to scrounge together time to take pictures of my outfits (or get dressed in anything other than leggings honestly)!  I do feel a new burst of autumn inspiration now though.  Off to enjoy my day off and check some things off my to-do list!  Happy autumn to you!

2014 Style Favorites

It has been so long since I have felt like blogging, let alone even had the time to! As is tradition, I thought I would do a little roundup of some of my favorite looks of 2014 to ring in the new year.  This year I tried out some new to me things like wearing overalls, trying some fun colored wigs, and even dying my hair pink!  I moved out from my little Boulder apartment and moved in with R for the first time in a cute new house in a new town.  It was my first year running my business full time.  I even ended the year with a stint working the holiday season delivering packages for UPS, which was as crazy as you may imagine, and why I had absolutely zero free time to blog lately!  Anyway, I hope you enjoy this little style recap.  Do you have a favorite?

I am currently home in New Jersey where I celebrated Christmas with my family, and will be ringing in the New Year tonight with friends.  I am also super excited for my best (and longest!) friend's wedding here on the second.  I then fly home for exactly a week before I leave for my next trip... to Hawaii! So yeah, life has been a bit hectic and crazy, but also full of adventure.  Cheers to all of you to a wonderful new year, can't wait to see what 2015 has in store!

Friday Favorites {Vol. 13}

It's been awhile since I did a Friday Favorites! Here's some of my favorite finds from around the internet recently!

The other week I saw Gentri wearing this beautiful black hi-lo dress  from Mart of China and I think I just may have to make it mine! It seems like it would be so easy to wear both casually or to a more fancy occasion!

I know I am late to the party, but I really want to try out a high waisted swimsuit!  This cute red white and blue number would be perfect for a day spent lounging by the new reservoir beach we discovered near our house!

I was scrolling through a wesbite looking at dresses and was quite shocked when R thought this colorful bird dress would be cute, as he is usually into more understated style.  I guess birds are okay but cats are not.  I've been loving comfortable smock dresses lately, and this deer one has such a cute print and shape!  I wonder if deer are on R's "acceptable animals to wear on a dress" list?

And while we are on the topic of cute animals, this article on unusual BFFs is the cutest thing ever.

Gray Malin is one of my favorite photographers, and it is my dream to one day hang one of his prints on my wall!

I recently started a Fabric board on pinterest.  Now if only I knew how to make allll of the pretty things by hand myself!

Dus is back from her buying trip in Mexico and has been filling her shop with SO MANY cute new fair trade goodies! This embroidered mini dress is what I am saving for!

The new Macaron Lippies collection from Nyx cosmetics would probably look crazy on me, but man do I want to try that lavender one on in person!

Okay, so this GIF is months old at this point, but holy crap, how awesome is this cat that saves a little boy who is attacked my a neighborhood dog?!?!

R and I are headed to the mountains for a camping trip tonight right after he gets off work!  I just printed this cute packing checklist to make sure we have everything we need!  If we were to make our own list, it would only include LOTS OF SNACKS.  And I guess maybe a tent. Have a great weekend!

Patriotic Roundup

Hi guys! If you're in the grand ole USA, Happy 4th of July to you!  I didn't get my act together to actually photograph my red, white, and blue for a post today in advance, so I thought I would do a little patriotic roundup of past outfits!

  

I love how each of the photos holds a memory, as they were taken spanning back over the last three or so years of blogging! From the prairies of Colorado, to the old Victorian houses of Cape May New Jersey (middle right), to the island of Kauai, Hawaii (middle), we sure do have a beautiful country!

Friday Favorite Finds {Vol. 12}

Welcome to my favorite finds this week, hope you enjoy!

Hey, these models stole my favorite "pretend to be fixing your hair" pose! Anyway, oversized babydoll dresses are where it's at.  The comfort honestly cannot be beat and with boots or sandals and a pair of sunnies, you're all set!  I am loving this festival snap and this pineapple dress is amazing!

A clean white kitchen with plants and pops of citrusy yellow - yes please.

This necklace from Etsy seller Black Crystals is sadly sold out, but she has so many beautiful bohemian pieces in her shop and I hope to be acquiring one soon!

These Margarita Cupcakes featured on Cupcakes and Cashmere had me seriously drooling.  I can't wait to have a bigger kitchen in the new place!

Speaking of the new place... here it is!  We move in a month and I couldn't be more excited. However much I love my little studio apartment right downtown, there is definitely something to be said about more space, a back yard and garden, and of course, moving in with R :)

As usual, my wishlist is my fastest growing board on pinterest!  These sheer ice cream socks (which the link doesn't work for anymore) are perfect.

With moving one the brain, I have so many home DIYs on my future to do list.  This canvas polka dot hamper would look so cute in our entryway laundry room and these dip dyed pencil holders would look so cute in my home office!

I kind of want to go to London just so I can visit this beautiful place called Hally's for a piece of banana cake.  Have you ever seen a more beautiful dining room set?  I'd say those dip dyed cans from above filled with fresh flowers would look great on the table too!

Lastly, what would a Friday Favorites post be without mention of cats?  If you are a cat owner or lover, you need to read this article a friend from college just sent me.  It had me literally laughing out loud at almost every single one they are so true.
