I've had my eye on this beautiful pastel house print dress for SO long. So when I saw that
Sammi was offering it up for swap via Flock Together, I could not wait to style it! Since I moved into my very own (rental) pastel house just last weekend, I thought it would be the perfect occasion to ask to borrow it!
Outfit Details:
Dress - Yumi,
borrowed from Sammi
Bow Flats - vintage
Pastel Wig -
c/o Wigsbuy
In other exciting news... UNICORN HAIR! A few weeks ago, a sweet lady over at an online wig retailer called
Wigsbuy reached out to see if I would be interested in doing a review. At first I was hesitant after reading a few negative things online, but honestly, I am pretty thrilled with my cotton candy colored wig! I have wanted light pink or lavender hair for awhile now, so this was the perfect way for me to give it a try without the commitment or upkeep. This particular one has a very light pastel pink in front, with lavender underneath and a bright light blue in back! They also have natural looking wigs, but I definitely wanted to go for something a bit more costume-y. I think the wig looks better with a bit of a style to it so I pulled it back, and it came with a cute pink comb and was easy to brush out without losing a lot of hairs. It also came with clips and a wig cap, which I need to learn how to use better. Anyway, I can honestly say I am really happy with the fun one I chose! What to you guys think?!
Hope you are having a wonderful day, and a big thanks to
Sammi for letting my borrow my dream dress!
xo Hannah
Omg you magical fairy princess!!!

<3 Thanks Rachel
DeleteOh my gosh, this hair colour looks amazing on you!
ReplyDeleteAww thank you! I wish it were real!
DeleteI love the dress and I think its perfect for the occasion of moving into your own new house! Also I've never tried a wig but I know first hand from dying my hair some crazier colors that it was a lot of upkeep so a wig does seem like a good alternative, especially a cotton candy one! http://theredlipchronicles.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThanks Justine! I did the whole redhead thing last summer and it always faded SO quickly for me! Hopefully this works out as a better option for me :) Have a great day and thanks for the sweet words!
DeleteYou look so cute with purple hair! Love this outfit too <3 Alex

ReplyDeleteThanks Annika! <3 I've always loved when you wear them too!
DeleteI think this is very pretty. Mostly, I was wondering how you grew your hair so quickly, so bit relieved to find out it was a wig and not me being too uber unobservant!
ReplyDeleteTruly though, it looks great!
Haha thanks Kristian! And EXACTLY- that would be some miracle grow right there since this added about a foot! :)
DeleteHoooomygosh, your HAIR! You are a pastel princess, Hannah! Augh, that dress is just perfect for your wig. I seriously can't get over all this. Such a darling. I love seeing how people wear wigs and it must be fun to try outfits on with a different hair color on style, huh? It's like stepping into a whole new wardobe I bet.
ReplyDeleteYou are the sweetest! And yes totally, now I want to find every pastel thing in my wardrobe to wear with it!
DeleteWhat a totally clever dress to wear in your new place. I wish I had something as awesome as that the last time I moved! And that hair rocks. Any chance you're going to actually dye your hair like that in the future? :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Hannah! I'm not sure if I would do it permanently but I would never say never!
DeleteThat dress is perfect on you. And the wig really just makes this outfit so fun! Love it :D

DeleteWow, this hair actually suits you really well! And its perfect with the dress! I love that you moved into a pastell house and would love to see more of it :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
xx
Thank you Larissa! I'm definitely planning to do a house tour at some point, but right now that seems pretty far off in the future since there's still boxes all over ;)
DeleteLOVING this to bits Hannah!!! Actually I think this is my new favorite from you. I wig company emailed me too (not sure if it was the same one or not) and I declined because I was hesitant to wear a wig, but goodness gracious...yours is awesome! Kicking myself now, ha! Anyhow Sammi's dress is gorgeous on you. I'm a sucker for a good house print as well. Have a sweet week doll!

Thank you lovely! I was realllly hesitant to do the review too, especially since I read some negative things online. But the lady I worked with from Wigsbuy actually was very willing to bend/ cater to the kind of post I was comfortable doing, which always makes it a bit better! Glad someone else understand the appeal of tiny houses in a row! :)
DeleteOh my goodness- I love this so much! The timing worked out perfectly of you getting the wig, borrowing the dress, and moving to create the perfect pastel photos! :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE how you styled my dress, Hannah. And the wig looks so awesome! I had pink and blue streaks in my hair looong ago, but would love to see how I'd look with pastel hair (though I could never make a full commitment, so a wig would be a great experiment)!

Everything about this is amazing!! That dress is so imaginative, I've never seen anything quite like it. And the wig looks quite natural; at first I thought maybe you'd gotten extensions and a major dye job, haha :) Anyway, it looks lovely on you and in combination with the little pastel houses.
