I hope everyone had a good Easter! This weekend was busy busy for me with Easter festivities and helping R find a brandy new car! I could definitely use an extra day of doing absolutely nothing, but so it goes.
Khaki Shortalls - Vintage/ thrifted
Purse - Vintage Dooney & Bourke
Puppy Blouse - c/o Oasap
Sunnies - gift from Mom
Buckle Boots - Crown Vintage from DSW (new!)
This is the first time I have worn any sort of overalls in public after the trend started showing back up all over the place over the past year. I actually really despise khakis in pants form, but these little 90s shortalls I thrifted I decided to take out for a spin myself. I'm not sure they are the most flattering piece of clothing ever (umm, hello "romper butt"), but they sure are comfortable! I originally planned to wear this to our Easter brunch, but then an adorable dress came in the mail from a Flock Together swap that I thought would be a little more Easter appropriate.
Anyway, I hope everyone has come out of their food and chocolate comas by now!

So cute!! I have yet to find a pair of overalls I like on me. I'm worried I'll just look like a child since I'm so short. Hahaha
ReplyDeleteAw Thanks Gentri! I totally know what you mean, I definitely felt like a giant kid wearing this outfit (especially with the puppy print blouse haha). I was like... do none fashiony people know that these are a thing again?
DeleteHahha, I am definitely on the chocolate coma train with you. Well, I was yesterday. There was a dark chocolate bunny and let's just say about half of him dissapeared yesterday... woops. :D
ReplyDeleteThose sunnies are adorable and you look SO DARN CUTE HERE! Not that you don't always, but hey, it's worth reminding you. :D
Thanks for the sweet reminder Ali! :)
DeleteCuute overalls
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is adorable, so perfect for spring! Happy Easter doll :) I love the blue mountains in the background also.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you as well, hope it was wonderful! :)
DeleteHa- this is the second blog I've read together with people sporting overalls. They really are back. Well, you make them look good (especially that 3/4 portrait of you with the CO sky so vibrant behind you.)
ReplyDeleteRomper Butt... wow, that made me laugh haha. I always think that about rompers - they are so cute but some of them are just not very flattering from behind. I think overalls looks better though because they are baggy and you definitely pull these ones off well :) Love that blouse that you paired them with.
ReplyDeleteHa ha! Romper butt! I think you look adorable in these overalls!!! I love them and they are so comfy... just a little difficult when you have to pee but other than that they are awesome. I also love the scenery in your images... everytime!
