Raglan Army

Don't you love it when you just feel like YOU in a certain outfit? That is certainly the case with this one for me and this jacket is what my dreams are made of.  I have outfit photos saved on my computer of outfits that I wore and took photos of that just didn't really feel "me".  Those get saved for days I have nothing else to post, while outfits that make me happy I get excited by and post immediately!

Outfit Details
Army Jacket - c/o Oasap
Hat - Target (similar)
Boots - DSW
Purse - Vintage
Blouse - c/o August Wrinkle

So yeah, back to this jacket.  It arrived in the mail last week and it was still too warm to wear it so I hung it on our bedroom wall so I could stare dreamily at it until a cooler day rolled in.  It is super lightweight, has the perfect slightly oversized fit, and is basically just a really unique take on the classic army jacket.  The cream colored raglan sleeves have beautiful embroidery on them, and I wish I had gotten a better close-up to show you but you can look at it on the Oasap site too.  Anyway, I have sometimes been disappointed with products from this site in the past but this one for me was a gem, so if you're looking for a fun transitional piece I would highly recommend it!

Also, I just wanted to say thank you for the kind words and support in my last most about the opening of my mens vintage shop The Bearded Bandit!  Hope you're all having a great week so far!

  3. Such a cute jacket, Im a big fan of army jackets in general. I love that hat also. Ive been really wanted to spring for and get one of those adorable floppy hats that I feel like I keep seeing everyone wearing. I guess Im just not always the most practical hat wearer, Ill buy it and then never wear it. I actually just bought a few things from oasap because they were calling my name, and looked very much like other much higher priced dresses. Ok yes I bought some very clear knock offs so Im hoping I like them when they come. I hear such mixed reviews about oasap but for now Im holding out optimism. Plus I got a dress I love for 25 dollars instead of over a 100, and I can get behind that .

  4. HOTTIE. Love these photos and this outfit is perfection. It's amazing how fast the weather changes in Colorado- I have it as one of my locations on my phone and it's always crazy to see it go from 90 to 55 in the same week :) I love this jacket- I thought the sleeves were part of your blouse, even better that it's a fun detail on the coat!

  6. These photos are beautiful, and this is a great look - it makes me want to go out and get a great pair of dark skinnies and some excellent boots, for one! I love that your style includes candy-colored vintage dresses as well as more grown-up, relaxed looks like this one.

    1. I know, I made it more confusing by wearing a blouse the same color as the jacket sleeves underneath haha! Thank you Crissy!
