Garden Stripes

Hi guys.  Monday's here trying to ruin all the fun. Did everyone have a good weekend?

I spent mine riding my bike, making up cocktail recipes using things found in our garden, going to R's family bbq, and catching up on some Orange is the New Black.

Outfit Details:
Vtg Woven Loafers - for sale in the shop here!
Vtg Striped Tee - for sale in the shop here!
Vtg Tribal Pants - for sale in the shop here!
Sunnies - c/o American Apparel
Hat - Eddie Bauer

These were snapped in our backyard, and you can even see our little raised garden beds in the background in some.  There are raspberries and cherries growing already which are almost ripe for the picking (if the birds don't get there first!)  Then I planted watermelon, cantaloupe, tomatoes, cucumbers, basil, and mint in the beds.  Fingers crossed! I have no clue what I'm doing, but should probably figure out some sort of fertilizer (preferably natural!) to give them a little help.  Anyone have any suggestions?
I'm also making an effort to style more things from the shop other than just dresses.  These awesome vintage tribal pants are so comfortable and have the perfect high waisted fit.  I paired them with some woven loafers and a striped crop top, also available in the shop!
Have a great start to your week!
xo Hannah

  5. I always avoid print pants I don't know why because you're now the second blogger today that Ive seen rocking them! I wish I had more room to garden but I potted a few flowers on our little deck.I know my mom always has problems with the animals getting to her crops. http://theredlipchronicles.blogspot.com

  13. Oh! how exciting about your backyard and all the possibilities.

The photo where you are reaching up, shows off the top very well and you look so pretty in that shot, even more so than usual (not to say you don't always look pretty, because you do. Just even more!)

  15. i'm not gardener either and usually call my mom on things, but i did find organic fertilizer at i think it was Lowe's that didnt seem expensive since you just use a little bit. your garden sounds amazing already though, and that sounds like a pretty perfect weekend! i really need to buy a new bike here because that's what i did every day to get everywhere back home and it's too weird not to. and yes, we just started OITNB season 1 about a month ago and are almost done w/ Season 2 now - sooo good (and we haven't even marathoned it : )! I can't believe I didn't watch it last year, although it's kind of fun watching it this way in a row.
