SO. We moved into our new home a few towns over this past weekend. It was exhausting but I really think I am going to love it here! I went from living in a small garden level studio by myself to a three bedroom house with R, complete with a yard, garage, and big basement! There was even a peony bush, one of my very favorite flowers, in full bloom in our yard when we arrived. Anyway, I am spending the week unpacking and trying to get back on a normal schedule with my blog and shop as soon as possible! In the meantime, you can always follow along on instagram for pictures of daily life in the new place!

Haha there is all kinds of truth in this post. I just started getting into the habit of commenting again. I felt SO bad but it took awhile for me to set a scheduled time to comment without worrying about Bianca. So don't worry, we all still read and don't mind if you're silent for a bit :). Your new house is GORGEOUS! I can't wait to see more!
ReplyDeleteI love your take on double denim, and the background is breathtaking! I've never lived around mountains, so they always look magical to me.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on making the move! That sounds like a big change, but a nice one :)

Super true! Though I love reading through all the blogs I follow on the daily, when people say "Sorry I've been gone so long," I'm always like... you were gone? There are just too many people to keep up with! I always try to keep that in mind when I take longer than usual to post.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, you are a cutie and I'm so happy for you with your new house!!

Love this outfit! And I have almost those exact same shoes! I really like how you styled them here!

decked out in ruffles
That is such a pretty place for photos! I love the mountains in the backgrounds. That must be so exciting to also have so much space! I know I would kill for a second bedroom to use as an office space!
ReplyDeleteWhile I think every blogger loves getting comments, especially from bloggers/readers they feel they've formed a relationship with, I think everyone also realizes, well, Real Life. And that is okay. So much truth to what you say about how perhaps bloggers put this pressure on themselves to always be reading and commenting. Love this whole post for that.
ReplyDeleteWell, and for the cute look in the Colorado loveliness. Glad the move seemed to go well and enjoy nesting and settling in!
Gorgeous colors! Love how what you are wearing matches with the mountains <3 Alex

Haha I totally go through the same thing! I stress myself out about missing my regular posting days, but the reality is that no one really notices. I love this outfit, denim on denim is my favourite!

I know what you mean- I feel like I'm dropping the ball for not keeping a regular schedule in blogging lately, but really you're right- it will be right there waiting :) I can't wait to see pics of your new place! Love the double denim!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got more time for the blog after moving - hope it wasn't that stressful! Lovely pictures and location, truly love the outfit :)
ReplyDeleteAmazing landscape!! Love the sunnies and the whole look! So cool!

I love how your outfit matches the mountain in the background. Glad to hear you are liking your new place. Moving is definitely a good excuse to take a step back from blogging haha.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the big move! And I know, right? No one ever notices when I miss a day of posting, lol. I really like this denim-y outfit! The simplicity of it is satisfying.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather follow bloggers who have a life and take time to put up quality posts than those who just slap one together because they feel that it's been a while. I also need to follow your example and not get so stressed out myself when I don't take enough pictures. By the way, I love your yellow frame sunglasses!
ReplyDeleteAnother Beautiful Thing
great reminder Hannah, thanks! also, what a great Summer look. I haven't really jumped on the denim & denim train yet, but I love this idea!
