Boy am I glad Sammi of The Soubrette Brunette joined the Flock Together blog because she is letting us borrow some AMAZING pieces from her closet. Not to mention she's a total sweetheart! I wore this on Sunday for R's birthday because he loves comic books, but it was of course rainy all day and I was forced to recreate the outfit inside over my lunch break yesterday.
This dress is actually quite perfect for both R's and my tastes because the comic is actually about sewing your own dresses! With the addition of a cute cutout back, you can say I am quite smitten. Thanks so much Sammi for letting me borrow this, and make sure to check out how Sammi styled it on her own blog here!
This is also another little peak into my apartment. The shelving unit is from Ikea and its what I am now using to organize my vintage inventory instead of having a billion bulky racks! So far it has helped clear up a ton of floor space in small apartment and its definitely been worth the investment!
Hope you're all have a good week!

p.s. you can find my heart pillow DIY here if you're interested!
Okay, so now that the wind is not blowing, I love your haircut even more! (Also not as dark as I thought it was).
ReplyDeleteYou look so ADORABLE in the comic dress. Also digging the shelves. They look like they really help things.
This is SO cute! And kind of unexpected :) Love the necklace you paired with the dress too. You're such an interesting gal, Hannah!

i love how you're holding the heart pillow out in the last pic. you always do a wonderful job in the rare occasions you take indoor pics, the thought of which honestly bores me, but yours never are boring! i mean, there's a cat in them anyway so what am i talking about. the dress is awesome! and the comic strip is great too.
