Lavender Locks

Hi guys!  I worked basically all weekend so while its Monday, I kind of don't mind because its not as traumatic as a Monday coming off a super fun weekend.  Plus, I had THE BEST thrifting/ buying trip for the shop this Saturday, so that part hardly seemed like work at all!  Let's just say I went to a new thrift store a bit further away and they had just put out their Halloween merchandise, which is the best time of year to find super unique and old finds. Wahoo!

Anyway, here I am testing out my new lavender locks from Wigsbuy!  Fun colorful hair without the commitment or upkeep (or hatred from R).
Outfit Details:
Vintage Floral Dress - for sale in the shop
Booties - thrifted
Purple Wig - c/o Wigsbuy

This wig was actually about six inches longer when it arrived in the mail, so I gave it a nice little trim to make it look a little less costume-y on me.   I absolutely love it, but these wigs definitely need a bit of styling in my opinion before they are ready to wear, so I twisted the sides back, brushed it out, and was ready to go!

As much as I have loved my two pastel wigs, I think I would want my next wig from Wigsbuy to be a more natural looking one.  I have SO much fun putting on my wigs, but still do not have the courage to really go out in public wearing the ones I have.  A wig that could change up my look a bit but still look like it could occur naturally on me would be so much fun too!  Below are my top more natural looking picks from Wigsbuy.

While I have never tried any of these personally, I think its pretty cool that they make wigs based off of celebrity inspiration pictures, and I would definitely be interested to see how close it comes to the actual picture!

Anyway, I have so much to get done this week before I am off on yet another little holiday up to the mountains with R's fam next weekend!
xoxo!

Pink Parrot

Want to know how to accessorize a jungle dress adorned with pink parrots? Why, with pink hair, pink sunglasses, a pink purse, a pink headband, and pink shoes of course!  Okay, so maybe I went a little bit overboard.

Outfit Details:
Parrot Dress - Vintage (sold out!)
Purse - Vintage (for sale in shop here!)
Pastel Wig - c/o Wigsbuy
Pink Sunnies - c/o Sunglass Warehouse
Shoes - Keds
Headband - vintage

I am still really loving this wig and not only because its pink, but because I can have my long hair back now whenever I want it!  I also realized I am pretty much completely camouflaged in this dress in my own back yard, especially in that first photo.  Though, I don't think there are any pink parrots in that bush behind me.

Also a new week, and new favorite pair of sunglasses!  These light pink shades from Sunglass Warehouse are amazing, the mirrored lens actually changes color depending on the angle you're looking at them and its my only pair like it.  Now I'm trying to show some self control and not go back and get at least one of the other colors, but the baby blue is calling my name pretty loudly!

Hope you guys have an amazing weekend planned and happy first official day of summer tomorrow!

Pastel Houses

I've had my eye on this beautiful pastel house print dress for SO long.  So when I saw that Sammi was offering it up for swap via Flock Together, I could not wait to style it!  Since I moved into my very own (rental) pastel house just last weekend, I thought it would be the perfect occasion to ask to borrow it!

Outfit Details:
Dress - Yumi, borrowed from Sammi
Bow Flats - vintage
Pastel Wigc/o Wigsbuy

In other exciting news... UNICORN HAIR!   A few weeks ago, a sweet lady over at an online wig retailer called Wigsbuy reached out to see if I would be interested in doing a review.  At first I was hesitant after reading a few negative things online, but honestly, I am pretty thrilled with my cotton candy colored wig!  I have wanted light pink or lavender hair for awhile now, so this was the perfect way for me to give it a try without the commitment or upkeep.  This particular one has a very light pastel pink in front, with lavender underneath and a bright light blue in back!  They also have natural looking wigs, but I definitely wanted to go for something a bit more costume-y.  I think the wig looks better with a bit of a style to it so I pulled it back, and it came with a cute pink comb and was easy to brush out without losing a lot of hairs.  It also came with clips and a wig cap, which I need to learn how to use better. Anyway, I can honestly say I am really happy with the fun one I chose!  What to you guys think?!

Hope you are having a wonderful day, and a big thanks to Sammi for letting my borrow my dream dress!
