Colors of the Wind

Hello!
We are half way to a beautiful weekend! For those of you who follow my on instagram, you have probably been seeing my grumpy blizzard updates as we have gotten a ridiculous amount of snow this month here in Colorado.  I am happy to announce, hopefully without jinxing it, that this weekend will be in the 70s and yesterday was hopefully the last blizzard of the season. Now I am going to go find some wood to knock on.
Outfit Details: Dress- Vintage, in the shop here! // Shoes- c/o American Apparel //
Necklace- c/o Oasap // Tights- Target // Flower Crown- DIY*
Anyway, sorry to disappointed anyone who clicked on over thinking this post was going to be about Pocahontas from the title.  It was just really freaking windy, and I was wearing lots of color. That and I love all Disney songs. Looking back on the outfit, I think it looks like I am about to go perform in some sort of ethnic dance recital, am I right?  But no, this was just any old normal weekend day for me!  Most of the photos were unusable since the skirt of my polka dot vintage dress was going rogue Marilyn Monroe on me. So it goes.
Have a great day!
xo Hannah

*p.s. On a completely unrelated note, does anyone get the order of the letters in DIY (DYI?) and FYI (FIY?) mixed up?! I honestly want to know, because I very consciously have to think about it and say the words out loud every time I write them, and want to know if its just me.

  2. Haha, I love the Disney title! I mean, the flower crown is kind of embracing the title a bit with nature, maybe, ,aybe if you stretch it? ;) I tried. But really, I adore your flower crown and how well it matches your cute shoes!

Oh man, still getting blizzards? Well, let's hope that was the last of them! I hope your weekend is full of pretty weather and lovely times outdoors!

  12. i was MOST disappointed you weren't in a Pocahontas dress. Playing with my heart strings, Hannah. Haha anyways, I can't believe CO has still been getting snow!! Honestly, if I was in that situation I'd just start packing my bags and shaking my fist at the weather. But I love your springy look here- i LOVE white tights. And I literally made the same flower crown yesterday. Literally. Great minds ;)

  16. This is my absolute favourite outfit of yours, no words to describe how much I love it; the most amazing colour combination, beautiful skirt and really sweet shoes. I always think that train tracks make such a cool location for photos.

  17. You had me laughing here Hannah on your skirt going rogue remark! This I can relate to - I'm pretty sure I gave a few passing cyclists a peep show yesterday when taking photos bc the wind was so bad! Gah - I really just adore your whole outfit from head to toe. Definitely a color palette I will most likely be copy-catting very soon :-). That little vintage number is the prettiest! And I still can't believe all the snow you have gotten! Ick. Here's wishing you only spring-like weather to come!!!
