Did you have a good weekend? Mine was pretty busy running errands and working on gifts, but I am sure most people are doing the same! I always have grand plans for homemade and DIY presents, but this year I don't know where the time has gone. I think as long as a gift is thoughtful though it is still good! The most daunting task by far will be to fit all of them in my suitcase to Hawai'i! I am already not the lightest of packers, so its going to be interesting to say the least!

I wore this little festive outfit yesterday to treat R and his Mom to an early holiday brunch, which was the best part of my weekend! We went to one of my favorite places called Lucille's that has THE BEST bloody Mary's and the best ketchup I have ever had. They make both in house, and I bought a ketchup and bloody mary mix to take home with me as well. For brunch they had delicious french toast with home made cinnamon syrup and I had a delicious veggie Eggs Benedict. Sheesh can you tell I am hungry right now? R's Mom also completely spoiled me with a bag of amazing gifts, and R and I are celebrating Christmas this week before I leave! What a fun but busy time!Cheers,
Hannah
your hat is just so darling! i also love all of the different tights you wear! where do you normally buy your tights from?

It sounds like you need to get some of those vacuum bags, so you can fit everything in your suitcase!!
ReplyDeleteYour brunch sounds fantastic. I haven't had breakfast yet, but reading that is just enough yummy to get me up and moving to the nearest food!
Oh, I LOVE this! The sweater is just darling and I love it paired with this dress. And the shoes are soooo amazing. I want a pair of oxfords like that! Good luck packing for your trip! I always overpack too...so I understand your dilemma, haha :)
ReplyDeleteI love those shoes! There's not much better than a good brunch and bloody mary, and presents on top of that :) Traveling with xmas presents is not easy- I'm trying to figure out how to pack all that too. I think Brian and I are going to exchange our gifts here before we leave to save space. I'm so excited for you for your Hawaii trip and can't wait to see pics!

ReplyDeleteOh godddd this post made my tummy grumble and my mouth water. I haven't had a Bloody Mary in agesss! I wish I lived by you so we can have a blogger date there ;) (sorry, R, no boys allowed). And this is one of my FAVORITE outfits from you. It's so festive, and colorful, and adorable!

ReplyDeleteI love love love love LOVE this look. This, to me, is a perfect example of vintage. I adore the sweater and the prints on it. It's very reminiscent of D&G's fall 2012 collection, and then you've coupled it with a great hat and shoes. It's so charming and unique, I totally love it. GREAT blog, would you like to follow each other?

Hello! My oh my is has been ages since I have dropped by your corner of the internet. I love your outfit, it hits the right balance between festive and fashionable. Many xmas jumpers can turn out daggy, but I cannot explain how 'right' this all looks. The fabric of the dress is to die for :D
