Shirt - Swell (Mens section/ altered)
Shorts - Vintage
Hat - Eddie Bauer
These snaps were taken outside of the little cottage we rented in Hanalei. The top was from the men's section of Swell, and I brought up the length and the sleeves to make it into a crop top right before we left. The shorts also used to be a really awkward almost-knee length. It's amazing what some tiny/ easy alterations can do! Hope you guys had a wonderful weekend!

Turning a men's shirt into a woman's one? Genius! I love the difference alterations can make! This is a really cute vacation look! I laughed at your first sentence. I could care less about football and the Superbowl in specific, but I have to admit that I did watch the tail end of the game yesterday--it was a close one!
ReplyDeleteThe alterations came out so fabulous! I always love stripes with red and the scenery in the pictures is just lovely.
ReplyDeleteThose alterations make the world of difference, those shorts are my favourite part of this outfit and I would never have guessed they started out life as a much longer style. That tee is pretty awesome too.
ReplyDeleteCute! I love stripes. Man all your photos are really making me wish for summer, haha.
ReplyDeleteIt's so crazy to see someone in shorts! Augh, this is such a pleasant little location. Those blue steps are so ideal and cozy. Hope you've been having a wonderful, wonderful time lately! Sorry my comments have been so sparse, eeeek! <3
ReplyDeleteNice work on the alterations! I would've never guessed that was originally a men's tee! That's funny with the original post title- I guess with the timing people would've thought your were a big football fan :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous of your vacation spots! I literally laughed out loud when I read about your title. I don't watch football all that much either.... I love the outfit and you look like you're having the time of your life. Love it!
