Pink Paisley + Yellow Freesia

The weeks until our move somehow seem to be fluctuating between crawling slowly and flying by, depending on what day you ask me.  The countdown is just about at the two week mark now, and the excitedness about moving is being replaced by the reality of logistics - packing your whole life into boxes (if you're R) and garbage bags (if you're me) in the span of a few weeks.  Trying to beat the stress by donning the happiest of colors. Oh and guzzling coffee.

Outfit Details:
Vintage Paisley Dress - for sale in the shop here
Vintage Turquoise Sweater - for sale in the shop here
Vintage Woven Belt - for sale in the shop here
Blue Canvas Shoes - thrifted
Yellow Headband - gift

When I posted an outfit Monday standing in front of this colorful bush, my mom email me to tell me its a Freesia bush.  It smells wonderful and the billowing yellow branches almost disguise the fact that I am basically just standing in the parking lot of R's apartment complex! The pretty pink paisley pleated (P's!) dress, the woven belt, and the turquoise sweater are all in the shop right now - I love when I end up in all vintage!   Anyway, I hope you are all having a great week!

  2. !!!! I LITERALLY have the blue version of that dress!! That's nuts! And haha, I totally put the majority of my clothes in garbage bags. Pro tip, don't take your clothes off of the hangers and just put them in the garbage bags, with the hangers sticking out from the hole. That way when you unpack them, they're ready to be hung! I hate moving. So very much. I always wish I could just dump everything and start from scratch, haha.

  8. I never new what freesia looked like before :) I love how you style up stuff for your shop into outfits. Moving is the absolute worst, I'm really scared for ever doing that again since we've lived in our house for 6 years- that's a lot of collected crap!
