Friday's Favorite Finds {Vol. 2}

Happy Friday! Just wanted to share with you some of my favorite recent finds from around the internet recently!
This dress from Dahlia is at the top of my wishlist right now.  I love the sporty look of the baseball sleeves with the ruffles and eyelet bottom!

These two toned beauties from Persunmall look to be a hybrid between a comfy sneaker
and an oxford, perfect for fall and back to school!

An awesome article from Delightfully Tacky about how to take your own photos with a tripod and self timer.  I personally prefer using a tripod and a camera remote (which you can pick up at Target for about $20) for taking my own blog photos! you can see the last posts I shot my own photos for here and here.

I loved this article on Dus's blog about her Fair Trade shop Mitla Moda! The pictures are gorgeous and she has amazing handcrafted Mexican clothing and accessories in her online store here!

This article from the Kitchn for 12 Creative S'mores Ideas has my tummy rumbling! We may go camping this weekend so I really want to try some of these! Fluffernutter s'more, get in my belly!

And continuing with the camping theme, how fun and pretty is this "Pitch a Proposal" dress from Modcloth? Unfortunately, even though its 50% off right now, its not in my price range!

Hope you enjoyed some of this week's finds! Here's a little Hammy the kitty update too.  So, as I posted about on Tuesday, I brought him back to the shelter to get his stitches removed and so he could go into the "cats available for adoption" room.  I got a call at work the following day saying Mr. Ham was not doing well at the shelter and they asked if I would be willing to foster him a bit longer as a part of their HOPE program.  So, Hammy is back at my place again, but he is still on the adoption website so if people are interested in adopting him, they get in touch with me to come meet him! This way, he can be seen in his own comfortable element instead of scared and hissing in a small cage at the shelter, and I have my three-legged buddy back for a bit longer too!
Have a great weekend!

  1. Aww Hannah, what a lovely surprise to see my post and shop on here. Thank you so much!! And I'm glad to hear Hammy is doing well again at your home, it's always sad to think a kitty could not get adopted just because it is scared in the kennel and acts differently than usual.
