R and I spent this past weekend camping in the mountains outside of Breckenridge. We headed up after work on Friday and luckily made it there before dark so we could set up our spot. We didn't have a reserved site, so we were pretty much just winging it, much to my delight and R's dismay. The first site we tried was all filled up, but there was another site just down the road that still had some lakeside spots left where we pitched our tent, cracked open a few beers, and caught the sunset.

I packed this vintage pinafore (which should be
in the shop soon) as an easy thing to throw over a t shirt or tank while lounging around the campsite. I layered it over this cute vintage top I borrowed from Katie from
Butterfly Loves Snapdragons. I can't get enough of casual wide stripes right now and may or may not be wearing this top again to work today! Katie also just opened up on awesome etsy shop called
Midwest Charm Vintage that's chock full of adorable accessories and clothes. I've got my eye on
this 1970s yellow dress!
I will be back later this week to share a few snaps from a gorgeous hike we did while camping! Hope you're having a great week!

ReplyDeleteCan I say how much I love that you brought a dress to camp in. Because it is what you like, what you find comfortable and- at the risk of beginning to sound repetitive- it is just so YOU! And lovely looking, of course ;)
ReplyDeleteYour pinafore is so so cute, and just perfect for camping! I've actually never been camping before (I know, judge me) but I really would love to start! I'm on a mission to visit tons of National Parks and camping grounds before I die! I hope you had a great time :)
