Hawaiian Joe Dirt

Hi guys,
Just stopping in quickly with a super easy-going outfit I wore to the park this weekend to play frisbee.   Well we played for a good ten minutes until we realized it was 90-something degrees and then deemed "sitting under the awning drinking water" a better activity. I don't think R could actually believe I asked him to snap photos of what I was wearing as were headed out the door, as this usually wouldn't be the type of outfit I post on here.  Actually, he told me I look like a Hawaiian Joe Dirt.  Thanks R!

Outfit Details
Hat - Vonzipper via Swell
Shoes - Inkkas
Purse - vintage
Top - Target
Sunnies - ZeroUV

Anyway, even though this is way more casual than I usually post, its what I often wear! I grew up at the beach, so often, especially during summertime, I revert to a more low key beachy style even though there's unfortunately no beach in sight here.
This is the second baseball hat I got recently from Swell and I am of course in love with the floral print! This one is sold out now, but there are a ton of other amazing printed ones right now too, particularly in the mens section!  I think this minty toucan number or this polka dot one has to be next on my list!

Happy July!

Casual Caramel

Hi guys! Oh look, its me wearing a normal person outfit.  I always think if I'm not wearing a bunch of colors or coordinating accessories that it will be boring for people to see, but I am trying to embrace more simplicity.

Outfit Details
Jacket - J Crew (thrifted)
Chambray Blouse - Eddie Bauer (thrifted)
Jeans - TJ Maxx
Boots - Blowfish Shoes
Sunnies - c/o Oasap

I thrifted this J Crew leather jacket a few weeks ago and think it will be perfect for this warmer weather we have been having.  I paired it with my new sunnies from Oasap and my blowfish booties (which I love, but are not the best for tromping over uneven grass)... Anyway, lots to get done today so I'm keeping in short!  Have a great day!

Plain White Tee

Last weekend, I had to make a few returns at the mall and stopped in at Forever21 while I was there.  While definitely over half of everything I buy is second hand, I can't resist stopping in that store when I am there since I am so rarely at a mall.  Anyway, I picked up this plain white tee with a little ruffle peplum bottom while I was there and definitely think its going to be one of the most worn things in my wardrobe this spring - I got it in turquoise too and they are so comfortable!  I think they were about $8, I highly recommended picking one up! I also picked up this pair of polka dot denim and cannot remember the last time I posted wearing jeans on this blog, let alone with a baseball cap.  So, I thought it would be fun to show two slightly different version of the same outfit, one super casual and one a teeny bit more dressed up with booties.

Version 2:
 Outfit Details:
Version 1: Jeans and Tee- Forever 21 // Necklace- c/o Oasap // Flats- Keds // Hat- Obey via Urban Outfitters (borrowed from R) Version 2: Booties- Blowfish (won in giveaway)

Which version do you prefer? I am really loving the little pops of bright colors in the first version, but its a pretty big change from the outfits I usually post on here!  Would you guys be interested in seeing more of my low key outfits like this, or do you prefer the dresses that I usually post? I am trying to change my mindset that jean and a tee is too "boring" to post, but I don't think that has to be the case!
I hope everyone had a terrific weekend! Mine was a really good mix of productive and relaxing but was way too short as usual.  Now its back to the grind!
