Hello! So, the makeover part of this post is actually referring to me altering a piece of clothing for my "Makeover Monday" series, but my hair got a bit of a makeover too this weekend- I am finally a red head! I have been wanting to dye it for months but I am a big chicken. I am so happy I finally took the leap because I am already having so much fun with it!
As for the shorts, I found them at a thrift store a few weeks ago and
really loved the striped denim but the dowdy 80s length did nothing for
me. I decided to take up the length by about 5 inches and now they're perfect for summer.
Outfit Details: Blouse - c/o Oasap // Shorts - vintage, altered // Hair Tie - gift //
Boat Shoes - Chatham Marine (giveaway)
These were taken at R's new place which has pretty green areas and flowers all over the grounds. I just received this fun blouse from Oasap and I think the print is so fun, it looks like a bunch of little colorful birthday hats! R's sister sent me the adorable hair tie as the sweetest little surprise gift and I love it! It has wire inside so all you have to do is twist it in place and voila!
I got my wish and spent yesterday eating chips and salsa, drinking margaritas, and lounging by the pool. Hopefully now I am ready to tackle these 12 days of work in a row!

That makeover came out so great! And I looooooove the hair! Super cute :)xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Vanessa! :)
DeleteLove this outfit! I like how you mixed the printed top with striped shorts. I just did a post on Friday about how I think mixing works best when one pattern is a stripe. Your shoes & headband are so cute!

Ah - such a lovely transformation Hannah! (both the shorts & hair). I swear I had those same shorts in middle school - though I probably did wear them at a dowdy length...ha! You've pieced everything together so perfectly here...the top with the head band and little boat shoes is so summery and pretty. Have a wonderful day doll!

Love your hair! I'm thinking of dyeing mine red. Just gave me a push to finally do it ha! And you worked magic on those shorts, as usual!
ReplyDeleteGabrielle- you totally should! It took me months to be brave enough to do it but I'm loving it! I used L'oreal "Excellence Cream" dye and it was really easy, but I definitely recommend using more than once box! :)You'd look adorable!
