Hi guys!
So, when I sat down to think, oh, what would my blog readers really like to see, it came to me: Pictures of me before I head off to work at 8am! Throw in some 30 degree temperatures, grey skies, and a few hail pellets here and there and here I am! For your sake I am at least giving my best effort at pretending to be happy. I think the bewildered-deer-in-the-headlights close up gives away my true feelings a little bit though...If you know me in person you would recognize that as my fake smile but actually about to cry face.
Outfit Details:
Blouse: Vintage - for sale in my shop!
Cropped Jacket - Vintage - in shop soon!
Pants & Boots: Target
Another really really exciting thing is that I am actually wearing PANTS on the blog! I actually wear pants (as opposed to skirts or dresses, not as opposed to going naked) multiple times a week, but for some reason those rarely get photographed. Its honestly been pretty difficult finding any time during the week to take pictures because it pitch black by the time I get home from work, so I have been resorting to weekend pictures or this dreadful experiment of before-work shots. I am sure most of you can relate between jobs and school and everyone's busy schedules!
Since Thanksgiving has passed, its okay that I am decked full out in red and green holiday cheer! In both floral and plaid nonetheless. I have actually been wearing Christmas socks for at least a month now, but Thanksgiving seems to be the official date where you are encouraged to be outwardly festive afterward. I picked up these velvety black pants from Target this weekend to pair with my ever-growing collection of cozy sweaters, so you may be seeing more of them! Anyway, I hope this week is going speedily for you and you are getting into the holiday spirit. Do you have any fun crafts planned or themed parties to attend? If you post about them I would love to see!
xo Hannah
I'd still be cold wearing that in 30 degrees. Very cute though! And haha, I came to that same pants realization as the cold weather settled in. Dresses are just so much more fun than pants!
ReplyDeleteSincerely,
Sabrina
Haha very true! I was cold, I just usually take my huge parka off for a few minutes so you can see the outfit! :)
DeleteLove this holiday look! Pattern mixing perfection girl :) Love how you styled it with the boots and hair bow!

Hahah you are a TROOPER. I wear pants probably once a week and I almost never take pictures in those outfits either. Mostly because I only wear pants when I hit the snooze button one too many times and can't be bothered to think what cardi should go with what dress haha. I usually take all my week's photos on Saturday bc of how fast it turns dark- which my brother *hates*. Ah well. And you have such a cute neighborhood! Who ever decorated their bare tree with bulbs is so cute!
ReplyDeleteOkay this outfit is SUPER cute, I love all the layers, the pants with the boots, the jacket with that blouse, you've got it going on girl!
ReplyDeleteI like the bow in your hair. I've done the early morning photoshoots too- they're fine if you don't have to be somewhere by 8, but for some reasons suck if you need to go into work...
ReplyDeletehaha i love the excuse to wear red and green now that christmas is coming up. Those mixed patterns look really good on you!
ReplyDeletethank you for your sweet comment on my blog:)!!
ReplyDeletei love this plaid shirt!

hahah. Love that face!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Hannah, thanks for commenting on my blog! It's always nice to find new (to me!) bloggers :)
ReplyDeleteThose pants look great, and they're velvet? I might have to check those out - they sound nice and warm for winter.
Pant ensembles don't make it to my blog too often either, I guess I feel like they're maybe not as interesting when I put them together, and I feel better and more comfortable in skirts/dresses. And I actually do try to snap my pictures in the morning, when I look fresh, and not tired after a day of work and commuting, but it is hard to find the time some days.
LOVE your plaid jacket!

I love that blouse! It must be so much fun to have a vintage shop and get to try everything on before you sell it (and also difficult to let things go). :) I never would have guessed that these were taken at 8 AM, either - you look way more awake in these pictures than I do at 10 AM!
ReplyDelete- Leslie, Instant Fires
Well that's some commitment when you've taken your outfit pictures at 8am before work and with a smile!! I could never pull that off haha :D You've put together such a cute look!
ReplyDeleteHope you'll have a wonderful weekend :)

Aw - loving your festive holiday pants outfit Hannah! The mix of prints is really quite lovely. I really need to dabble in the pants department - I've been seeing so many adorable looks lately I kind of feel like I am missing out on something...hehe. Oh before 8:00 AM - I'm such a night owl, that this is way too early of an hour for me (as awful as that may sound) - but you look radiant and completely darling even at this ungodly hour of the day :)
ReplyDeleteThat`s a lovely plaid jacket. Love the outfit it`s so fun. you look nice.
