Only three more days of work until vacation! I have my outfits basically all laid out and ready to pack, but am still trying to downsize a little bit! I don't think 8 fully accessorized outfits are needed for four days at the beach, but at the same time what I want to wear during the day is different than what I want to wear at night out to dinner (and maybe even dancing)! I decided to not even pretend that I am going to exercise and vetoed the sneaks. Let's be honest, I am going to be too busy shoving my face full of tacos and Pacificos to go for a run...
Dress: vintage/ thrifted
Gold Bracelet: vintage
Colored Bracelets: The Plaid BarnSo, here you have it- my new shorter hair cut! It's still a tiny bit longer than shoulder length, which I know doesn't truly count as a short haircut for some, but for me, it was a pretty big deal! I am loving it so far, it is so easy to work with and watching about 8 inches fall to the floor was liberating! I think I could have gone even a little bit shorter, but I thought this was a good first step, and really wanted to still be able to put it up in my messy top bun easily.
What do you think of this crazy abstract print on my dress? I got some really fun new vintage for the shop this weekend, and this was part of the haul. I spent my Sunday fixing and hemming six dresses and can't wait to show them to you guys! I loved that this was all one piece but looked like a blouse layered underneath. Also, I didn't get any good pictures but the collar has some beautiful gold tipped detailing to match the gold nautical buttons. The print is definitely not for the weak of heart though! I tried to catch the "golden hour" for taking these last night, but the sun was setting way too fast! So, I apologize for the darkness in some of the shots, but it did make for a beautiful sky!
Alright, well I will be out of touch starting on Saturday as I am not bringing my laptop to Cozumel. A little technology cleanse is much needed! I promise to come back with loads of fun island pictures to share with you next week, and probably a nice sunburn to boot! Adios amigos!
