Anyone who has been following my blog for this past year or so probably
knows how much I love to travel. I am usually at my happiest when I am
planning my next trip. Even better are the adventures that are highly
unplanned, which is why I have been absent around here for the past
week! While I was not in some tropical locale, I did decide at the last
minute to fly home to New Jersey to surprise my friend for her
birthday! So, my apologies for the unexpected blogging hiatus!

Since the weather was terrible while I was home, I was not able to take any outfit pictures while I was there. It was such a bummer because there are some amazing locations I really wanted to take pictures at, but I think it worked out for the best taking a little break from everything. I thought I would share with you some pictures from previous adventures and travels from the past year or so, and I will be back to normal posting and outfits next week. Do you guys have any fun adventures planned in the near future? I would love to hear about them!

Sounds like a fun and well-deserved trip! It's nice to take a beak from life sometimes. I hear you on the weather though. The snow and cold and gray here has been the reason I never post photos of myself right now. Or else it would be something like this: Amanda in coat. Amanda buttoning her coat. Amanda taking off her coat. Amanda peaking out of her hood. etc. I am so ready for spring my dear. Have a great weekend! Big hug!
ReplyDeleteMan, I am seriously jealous right now...wish I could hop on a plane! Haha, have fun and I bet your friend will appreciate you being there :)

ReplyDeleteHappy you! I am sure you friend was super super happy :)!?
ReplyDeleteI am planning my trip back home which is also somehow exiting ;) but then I am afraif I will have to spend most of the summer writing on my thesis and moving in with my fiance. If there is some time left we will certainly go to Greece to visit my aunt. And then there is a festival in Denmark where we go every summer ;)
xx
Thats so awesome that you decided to surprise your friend for her birthday, I'm sure she'll really appreciate that. I love travelling too, I can't wait to go to Vancouver next week for a few days :)

So beautiful! It's still snowing here, can you believe it?! Maybe I need to have a look through my travel photos...
ReplyDeleteWow, you've been to some beautiful places! I wish I liked to travel but I kind of hate it. I'm a California girl who's spoiled (weather wise) and I have a hard time leaving :). I hope you have a great time in New Jersey!

Oh, I love all your travel photos so much- and the ones of the Rockies especially. Despite the crummy winter weather, I often feel luck y to live so near mountains.
ReplyDeleteWe are trying to plan our honeymoon this weekend! Excited and a little nervous too...
Hoep you still had fun though - it sucks when the weather doesn't lend itself well to outfit photos. I miseed takign in on St Pattys day myself.I ove the array of photos of you in all the different places, I get the feeling we'd get along well in all our exploring/traveling.
ReplyDeleteWow, so amazing!

My happy place is traveling and planning trips too! When I made the decision to go back to school the traveling had to be put on hold and that's been the hardest part of these 2 years! I can't wait to go on vacation again! Such pretty pics- glad you had a fun trip home!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty collection of travel photos from you!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend,

I agree it probably was "meant to be" that the weather wasn't good for pics to just enjoy completely your time there and have a little break : ) Hope it's going great back home & I loved this little recap of a few of your trips this past year, all the places & pics are so awesome. & of course you know I love traveling too : )

I definitely have a case of Wanderlust! Luckily we have Colorado in May, and possibly Australia in November? (there's talk in the works!)
ReplyDeletelove these photos of your travels, last-minute trips are such an exciting part of life! I'm looking forward to getting a car so I can make some road-trips from Nashville, so many cool places are only a drive away! It makes me especially excited because road trips in CA keep you in the state, for the most part. And actually, I just booked a cruise with my sister after graduation! it's gonna be my very first one and I am SO excited!
