Welcome to The Braided Bandit!

Hello & Welcome to the new blog for The Braided Bandit!
This blog was created so I could share some information about The Braided Bandit vintage and recycled clothing company that I recently opened on Etsy!  I will shortly post a little but more about what goes on behind the scenes at The Braided Bandit, but for now I will tell you a little bit more about the company and myself!

First off, my name is Hannah and I am based out of Boulder, Colorado.  I have always had  a love of vintage and recycled clothing and fashion, so I recently decided to try my hand at starting my own online shop.  Right now this is just a one (wo)man show, and a lot of work has gone into it.  I got my bachelor's degree in Environmental Policy from Rutgers University in NJ, where I am originally from.  I also have a background in marketing and a love of art, photography, and fashion.  Thus, The Braided Bandit was born.

The Braided Bandit is dedicated to being as green, or as environmentally friendly as possible.  Though still a form of consumerism, buying second hand or recycled clothing is infinitely better for the world around us.  As we are all taught from a young age, the 3 R's of reducing, re-using, and recycling are all part of the principles The Braided Bandit are run by.  Though shipping products is something I cannot avoid, I try to use the most environmentally friendly packaging and products, while still giving a pretty and professional appearance.

Currently, this is a learning process.  I am the buyer and the seller, the photographer and model, the writer and book keeper, the cleaner and the seamstress... and it is a lot of work! But I am having a great time doing it and am excited to make this an awesome business.  I am dedicated to helping my customers in whatever way possible, and if there are any questions, please feel free to ask (on here, or send me conversation on etsy)!  Basically, my goal is to hunt for the very best vintage finds, and deliver them straight to your doorstep :)

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope to be seeing you soon!
