Geo Pastoral

Geo-pastoral.  Oh, you didn't know that was a thing? Well, its when you wear a very geometric or mod printed item of clothing in a pastoral or country like setting to create a clash.  But, I obviously just made it up. Now when you see it in all of the Fall 2014 lookbooks you know who the source was.

Outfit Details: Dress - 1960s Vintage, on sale in the shop here! // Boots - Vintage - for sale in the shop here! //Hat- Eddie Bauer (mens) // Tights - Target

On the way back from brunch last weekend, I almost jumped out of a moving vehicle when I saw this gorgeous barn in the distance I was so excited.  While I love clothes and styling outfits, what I love more about taking photos for the blog is if you can make somewhat of an exploration or adventure out of it.  Jumping out of the car to be outside for even only 15 minutes to walk along a country road or through the woods is really so refreshing!
I hope you're all having a wonderful week!

  1. I think that's one of my favorite parts about blogging too. Photo shoots require you to be out it is refreshing and seeing things with new eyes.

Also, a fun print you have on indeed!

  6. I think your geometric dress looks great with the barn as back drop, something about the two don;t go but that is what makes it so appealing.
