Boulder Creek Festival

Hi guys! Just a quick update today.  I wanted to share a few pictures from my weekend when we went to the Boulder Creek Festival! It is right in my town and is your typical fair with yummy food, live music, rides, and shopping! We started off the night with a margarita, then went on to pizza, and ended the night at a local frozen yogurt shop.  It was fun and relaxing and just what the doctor ordered!
Outfit Details:
Dress: Heritage 1981
Boots: Gift from mom
Hat: target
Necklace: vintage/ gift
I am not usually a huge ice cream person, but this plain yogurt was the perfect tart treat at the end of a hot day!  R went the "mature" (read: boring)  route and got mini chocolate chips on his.  I went six-year-old style with fruity pebbles and mini gummy bears, best decision ever.  Anyway, its Wednesday and I am feeling optimistic about the weekend!  I am not, however, feeling optimistic about finding time to work on my shop, eek! Speaking of which, you can still get 15% off your entire purchase in my shop with the code MEMORIAL15 until Thursday night, so go check out all the pretty summer dresses! YAY!

  1. I am still insanely jealous of you living in Colorado! I can't wait to get out of New Mexico. I'm actually applying to Boulder for Grad school. Anyway, looks like a fun time...(I think I would have gone for the chocolate chips myself, yum!)

I'm VERY SLOWLY learning my way around digital art. Basically, I do the sketch by hand, scan it, open it in Photoshop, and unleash the madness. I'm hoping to get better at arms and legs in particular, which always trip me up. (And fingers, bleh!)

  3. haha first of all LOVE your look here!! i haven't stopped by in forever and missed the new look! also adore your outfit in this post!! and i would have also gone the "mature" route and done the choc chips! i like to keep my froyo simple.

anyway about your primer question: my fav face primer is by mark, use code WELCOME for FREE SHIPPING! http://shop.meetmark.com/shop/product.aspx?pf_id=39629&level1_id=300&level2_id=469&pdept_id=483&&dept_id=490&cat_type=C

that's pretty much the only affordable primer i use. though i have heard good things about ELF's primer!! and l'oreal has good ones too!

i would say the same for eye primer too! i have some pricey ones, like urban decay that have come free with shadow pallets... though mark has a great everyday one too,

  8. perfect outfit for the occasion! I always put EVERY topping on my froyo, I swear I have no self-control...it's usually brownie pieces, cookie dough chunks, gummy bears, strawberries, caramel...ugh. I'm embarrassed to type that all out, haha!
