Prairie Pink

Hello,
     I hope you all had a good weekend! I didn't do anything super exciting but it was a good one nonetheless.  A new thrift store opened up near me and I spent Saturday going out to brunch and then hunting for vintage for my shop, it was perfect! Now that I am pretty much all settled in my new place, I will hopefully have more time to devote to it, so look for a great shop update later this week!

     So, a bunch of fun things about this outfit! This dress is a piece from my own personal vintage collection that I couldn't pass up when I saw it in a thrift store a few months ago.  It was in bad shape but after a few soaks and spot treatments, its as good as new! It had big bows on the shoulders that  I need to sew back on at some point too.  The sunnies are a recent purchase and though they're maybe a bit much, I can't get enough of them! Cat eyes with flower embellishments? Yes please.
     Most excitingly, I won this lovely pair of Bait Footwear heels from a giveaway hosted by Polly of The Littlest Polly and her  lovely friend Hannah.  They are super cute and just as comfortable as the other pair of Bait shoes I have (seen here).  Everyone was so sweet to work with and I was seriously so happy to win these, you'll be seeing a lot more of them!  So a big thank you to Polly, Hannah, and the team over at Bait Footwear :)
     Lastly, I found this antique video camera at a thrift store sometime last year, and thought it would be fun to take some pictures playing around with it! Hope everyone is having a great start to their weeks! I for one could use another cup of coffee...
