Primary Pop

You know how I was proclaiming my love for pants and no-fuss androgynous style just a few posts ago?  Well, I may have bent the truth a little bit, because this is one of my favorite outfits in a long time and it is about as vintage- girly as ever!  I wore this a few weekends ago to celebrate R's mom's birthday dinner at a brewery, and this two piece set has since made its way to a sweet gal in California - I hope she sends along some pictures! I am in love with two piece sets right now, so it will surely be missed but there's more of the same coming to the shop soon!

Outfit Details:
Green Sunnies: c/o Oasap
Vintage Skirt Set - The Braided Bandit (sold)
Vintage Blue Maryjanes - The Braided Bandit (in stock!)
Yellow Headband & Purse - gifts from friends

The top was originally full length, but I thought it would add a bit of fun and flirtiness to the look if I made the top a bit more cropped so it would meet up just above the waist of the midi skirt.  I paired it with primary colored accessories, including these sunglasses from Oasap, a cute yellow hair tie from R's sister, and these blue Mary Jane pumps from the shop!
Anyway, I am feeling determined to really get a lot done this week!  Working from home, it is really easy to get stuck in a rut performing the same shop tasks over and over instead of trying to grow and expand.  I am feeling I need to break away from what I know well and take a few risks!  Do you have any exciting projects or plans in the works?  Have a great day!

Hmmm, my projects for the week include starting a new big painting, which can always be a little daunting, and getting a paper to be a little more cohesive. Fun school stuff, lol!

  6. One word: perfection! I am ga-ga over everything from head to toe....seriously swoon mode going on here. Funny thing, I'm pretty sure that I had those exact shoes in middle school...but in pink. There are so many things from that era that I wish I would have held onto! This is the best mixing of color ever!
