Navy Polka Dots

It has been unseasonably warm here in Colorado, which I am not complaining about when it comes to dressing.  It meant I was able to go out for birthday dinner and drinks with nothing more than a light jacket on instead of multiple layers topped with a down jacket.  In terms of what this means for the environment though, unseasonably warm temperatures do not bode well!

Outfit Details:
Dress & Shoes: Vintage
Scarf & Tights: Target
Have you guys started your holiday decorating yet? I am going to be in Hawaii with family again this year for Christmas and New Years, so though I want to do a few crafts, I don't want to put much effort into it when I won't be here to enjoy it for very long! I am going to try my hardest to eat healthier for the next few weeks too! I feel like if I announce that out loud on the internet it will be easier to hold myself to it.  I can tell me body is getting pretty tired of too much pizza, holiday treats and perhaps a few to many birthday cocktails!  Has anyone every tried any detox/ cleanse that they felt really good about after? If so I would love to hear about it!  I will state right now that I am willing to cut out wheat, sugar etc for a bit, BUT NOT COFFEE!  I have my limits.

  1. Oh Hannah, you're a girl after my own heart. Navy, polka dots, AND the understanding that absolutely nothing is worth giving up coffee. You're the best. As usual, this dress is lovely!

  2. Very cute, Hannah! And I love that there is a rainbow on your feet in the second to last photo! It's been super warm in the midwest, too! No winter coat all weekend was amazing! And, I am uber jealous that you are going to HI for the holidays. I've never been and have ALWAYS wanted to go! Maybe for our honeymoon? Hope you have a great Monday! xo

  4. Haha yea, I don't think I;d ever be able to give up my coffee. It's my crack and I'm ok with it. And your outfit is soooo darling (imagine me spinning when saying 'soooo'), i absolutely love every detail about it. But ok fine, if you want to know my favorite part it's probably that dropped waist. So so cute! And how cool that you spend the holidays in Hawaii!! Adopt me...?

  7. Haha- I was diagnosed with "Abdominal migraines" when I was in 6th grade and caffeine was cited as the trigger (well, that and peanut butter). So I've never tried coffee. Maybe it is for the best. I miss Peanut butter, but can't miss what I never tried before.... Let us know how any detoxing you try goes. Curious now!

The dropped waist is my favorite element too. It is rather unique!

  9. Harley and I quit eating sugar for a long time, which was great. We decided to splurge on Valentine's Day, and we felt so terrible afterward because our bodies were used to not eating so much sugar. What good habits we had back then!

If you have a minute, we've got a giveaway on H&J--see you there??

  10. I recently stopped drinking coffee or caffeine in general (for the time being) and have eliminated most fast food and overload of sugary confections that I so badly love...hehe. So I'm right there with you Hannah!

Colorado weather looks perfect right now - and I so love those polka dots and pretty vintage shoes. You are adorable darling gal!
