Jumpsuit Jungle

Starting with hair up and taking it down immediately, a daily occurrence for me. Which do you prefer yourself?
Outfit Details:
Jumpsuit - Sammy Dress
Necklace- Gift (made in Hawaii)
Heels - thrifted
Purse -vintage

Absolutely love this jumpsuit I got recently.  The tropical print and slightly slouchy fit are perfect, but they are so hard to move around in sometimes!  May or may not have torn a strap off while bending to pick up my dropped camera remote immediately after these photos were taken.  Off to the "mending pile" it will go, where it will probably stay for months haha.  Hope you guys are having a great start to your week!

Red Romper

Blogging is strange.  I hate writing this little introductory paragraph at the beginning of posts because its like HEY GUYS, WHAT'S UP?! But I'm actually just sitting in my office by myself.  The latter part of posts are always so much easier because I get to blather on about what I am wearing, eating, doing, and thinking.  Does anyone else sometimes find it strange addressing an invisible audience?

Outfit Details:
Romper: The Root (Hawaii)
Bag: Vintage
Earrings: Momentum (Boulder)
Boots - DSW
Hair- Arctic Fox (Turquoise)

Okay now on to the *really exciting* part about what I am wearing, eating, doing, and thinking.
Wearing: A romper I bought a few days before leaving Hawaii.  I couldn't wait until it was warm enough to wear it again at home, and Colorado has been providing some pretty lovely Spring weather these past few weeks.  Except now it may snow tonight, so I will be eating my words soon enough
Eating:  Oatmeal, which I am pretty sure is the only thing currently left in our cabinets right now.
Doing: About to hem a pile of vintage dresses for the shop!  Speaking of which, you can take 10% off with the code BUNNY10 at checkout!
Thinking:  How are we already into April? I should probably finish my taxes.  And go grocery shopping.  And do laundry.  And maybe vacuum.

That's all folks!

Black and White

Oh, Monday. I am not your biggest fan.
It was a pretty mellow weekend for me.  I spent most of it at home giving my handsome 3-legged foster kitty his medicines, but these were taken yesterday while I snuck away for a bit to go eat lunch at R's place.
Outfit Details: Romper - c/o Oasap // Boots - thrifted // Sweater - Target //
Watch - c/o Sprout Watches // Necklace - Vintage

It was a rare rainy day in Colorado, and it was so nice to not take pictures in the glaring sun like usual.  It also meant it was pleasantly cool out and created an awesome grey backdrop for photo-taking! I paired my lacy romper with black and white accessories for a very monotone look, which is pretty out of the ordinary for me but a welcome change.  The last time I wore this romper I was home in New Jersey.  I also donned my awesome white watch I got from the eco-friendly Sprout Watches last year which doesn't make it on the blog nearly enough.  I don't wear a watch on a daily basis, but this one is made from corn resin and is actually biodegradable, which I find to be so awesome!  I have my eye on one of these colorful cork ones or one from their nautical collection next!
Also, don't forget there is only a few more days where you can use the code XMASJULY to take $10 off anything you see in my vintage shop!  Have a great start to your week!

Nautical Nature

Going back to work after a holiday weekend, ugh!  Sometimes five days seems so daunting.  I am finally settling in nicely to my new place though and had a great weekend, so I shouldn't be whining.
Outfit Details: Dress - Vintage, Tea and Tulips // Sandals - B.C. Footwear // Scarf - Vintage

After spending the day at the pool at R's place yesterday, we headed back to my place downtown and I made fish tacos for dinner- so good! We then went for a walk around my new neighborhood and found some awesome little hiking trails a few blocks down, which was an exciting discovery.  I have been feeling a bit lazy lately, eating lots of junk food and avoiding physical activity at all costs, so it would be nice to get back into a good routine and I think finding fun little hikes to do right out my back door would be a great place to start!
Anyway, this was another little nautical outfit I donned last week in the spirit of the 4th.  The romper I got last year from Steffy's vintage shop Tea and Tulips and its perfect for any patriotic holiday!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, what did you do?

Greetings from Asbury Park

Saying goodbye to New Jersey today, which is definitely bittersweet.  I will be sad to leave family, friends, and the beach behind, but am excited to see R and hopefully some summery Colorado weather!
Outfit Details: Lace Romper- c/o Oasap // Triangle Necklace - c/o Oasap // Sneakers - Keds

I got this lovely little lacey romper from Oasap and I have a feeling you will be seeing a lot of it this summer!  I chose to dress it down with sneakers and pops of color this time while exploring the old Asbury Park boardwalk casino right near my house.  Sadly, a lot of the art and structure got even more destroyed during Sandy, but hopefully you can still see how awesome it was!  Anyway, off to the airport, hope everyone is having a great week and I will be back with many more vacation pictures soon!
