Sail Away

This outfit makes me feel like I should be on a beautiful sailboat cruising a coast in the Mediterranean Sea.  However, the most "Mediterranean" thing I probably did today was eat humus. Possibly straight out of the tub.  Possibly with my fingers.

Outfit Details:
Black Sunhat - Sears? (old)
Sailboat Dress - thrifted
Shoes - hand-me downs

This little wicker swing on our front porch is a great little spot to come hang with R after he gets off work and enjoy a beer. Especially since these beautiful pink hibiscus-looking flowers are in bloom! Anyway, this week is busy busy but I'm trying to keep things in perspective and soak up lots of sunshine!

  13. A lovely dress to wear while hanging on the porch, just as much as it would be great to wear along the Rivera :)

  14. oh that print is seriously the sweetest. I love the "the most Mediterranean thing i've done today" bit : ). do you ever eat hummus w/ baby carrots? that's actually my fav thing w/ it, which works out well since gluten free breads and such are too pricey. not to say that eating it plain isn't a perfectly good thing to do either! i'm seriously swooning over your little porch, so southern dream!

  20. OMG! I too saw this sailboat dress at a thrift store here in Austin but it was a size 10 and wouldn't have fit me. Boooo! I love it though... I was surprized about how much fabric it had! Layers and layers! I wish it would have fit... now I know what it would have looked like on me.
