Evergreen and Red

Things are starting to look pretty merry and bright around here, and I may have bought a huge red bow and a wreath for my wall already.  R thinks October is a bit early to start, but when you run a shop, if you don't capitalize on the season early enough, you blink and miss it! So while I originally bought the wreath as a shop listing prop, I plan on keeping it up all season since I think its a "winter" decoration, not just a "Christmas" decoration.  The perks of living alone! So there.

Outfit Details: Plaid Wool Coat - Vintage, for sale in the shop here! // Dress - Vintage, for sale in the shop here! // Boots - thrifted // Tights- Marshalls

Anyway, I wore this festive outfit out on a date night this past weekend to one of my favorite restaurants in town called Pizzeria Locale.  It's pretty much a super swanky pizza restaurant with an authentic clay oven and the best pizza ever.  I had just finished hemming this evergreen corduroy dress for the shop and couldn't wait to take it out for a test spin before I listed it!  This amazing vintage plaid wool coat is also in the shop now and let's just say I may shed a big fat tear when it sells!
I hope you all are having a wonderful week!

  1. I love this combo! I know exactly how you feel about kickstarting the holiday cheer a bit early. I run a shop too and if you don't start thinking about the holidays by now, you're gonna be so behind!

  2. I'm a big believer that it's never too early to start thinking about Christmas, so I am with you! Love this combo, as usual! The color of this dress is lovely and I'm so in love with this coat. Plaid coats are the best!

  6. Gasp! You're looking (dare I say) a little festive, a little Christmassy? ;D I love it, though! Tomorrow is November, and we all know that Christmas starts in November. I love that deep green with the red, though. The plaid is gorgeous, too!

  9. Hannah, that is so funny you mentioned Pizzeria Locale. I worked in a similar pizzeria here in PHX for 8 years and the owner is best friends/grew up with the owner of your pizzeria and Frasca. Their pizzaiolo even came down to PHX and trained with ours before they opened :) Love these photos- my favorite weather is chilly + sunny!

    1. Oh my goodness that's crazy! I hope you got to eat the pizza for free :) I would love to try Frasca here some day too but it is kind of crazy expensive, so for now I just stick to longingly reading the menu every once in awhile!
