Scarlet Letter

Not to get too ahead of myself, as I usually like to do a "What I am thankful for" post on Thanksgiving... but there is just so much to be thankful and excited for this week that I don't think I can hold off!

Yesterday I got my 300th sale on Etsy, which I had set as a goal to reach before my family arrives for the holiday this week.  I made it just in time, because they arrive tonight! Then, on Wednesday we road trip up to a house we rented in Breckenridge, Thursday is Thanksgiving, Friday is my ugly sweater birthday party and Monday is my actual birthday. Whew! So much goodness!

Anyway, quickly about the outfit... I have really been wanting some sort of letter sweater for awhile now so I jumped at the chance when I saw this one online at Persunmall!  I love the sportiness it brings to the outfit and I want to try layering it over a girly dress next time for some contrast.  It's super comfy too so I can already tell it will get a lot of wear while I'm working from home in leggings and fuzzy socks most days!
Have a great start to your week!

Color Roundup: GREEN

Forest green, mint, emerald, and turquoise greens, I love them all! When asked my favorite color, green has been my reply for as long as I can remember.  So without further adieu, here are a few ways I have worn my favorite color on the blog in the past!

Hooray for Friday! I have already been to the post office to ship off orders, have a nice large vanilla latte sitting in front of me, and have a bunch of cute vintage lined up to shoot!  I even ironed it all last night instead, which is nothing short of a miracle! Usually I am trying to get everything ready to shoot while watching the best daylight quickly fade away, always racing against light and time! Even if you are not shooting product photos, I am sure most bloggers can relate with trying to shoot outfit photos when its now completely dark by 4:30pm!
Anyway, I will be spending this weekend getting ready for Thanksgiving and the arrival of my house guests (my parents and brother) on Monday!  Have a wonderful weekend!

Team Spirit

Just stopping in quickly to say hello!  I have a bit too much on my plate today though so I must keep this short!  Also, please disregard my awkward swoop hairdo, courtesy of the wind.
Outfit Details: Dress - Vintage, for sale in shop here! // Toggle Coat - Vintage, coming soon to shop! Boots & Leggings- Marshalls // Scarf - Gift from friend

I wore the pretty vintage plaid dress from the shop to a hockey game this weekend with R and the people from his office.  The maroon dress was an ode to the Colorado Avalanche team colors without actually having to wear a jersey.  The effort was probably lost on most.  We had an awesome club box courtesy of Rob's graphic design office stocked with food and beer so it was a fun night out!  Unfortunately, the Avs lost, but for me the free food and beer  and awesome view obviously made up for the poor game!
Hope you all are having a good week! I am so excited for the upcoming holidays!

Oh Deer

Well, its getting to the point in the year where I start to live in cozy sweaters at all times even though it has thankfully remained unseasonably warm here in Colorado so far.  We have had two small sprinklings of snow, but it has continued to hover in the 50s still on average and I sure wouldn't mind if it decided to stay like this!  It means I get to wear my sweaters, but not always layer my heavy down coat on top whenever I leave the house.
Outfit Details: Deer Sweater - c/o Oasap // Skirt - c/o Oasap // Flats - thrifted //
  Socks & Scarf - Target

I received this amazing deer sweater in the mail last week from Oasap, and as R can attest, I have rarely wanted to take it off since.  While I am usually hesitant to get "one size fits most" clothing online, this sweater turned out super cozy with a comfortable slouchy fit and a pretty sequined deer adorning the front!
Anyway, I am pretty excited about the upcoming few weeks.  One week from today my whole family will be here at the same time for the first time ever!  My brother has visited me before, and my parents have visited a few times, but never at the same time.  We rented a house up in Breckenridge for Thanksgiving and R, his mom, and our family friends are joining us up there.  I can't believe how close it is now & I'm so excited!  Are you guys starting to think about Thanksgiving and holiday plans yet?
Have a great start to your week!

Color Roundup: BLUE

It's Friday, so that means another color roundup!  Though blue does not make the favorite color list for me, I found that it was by far the most worn color looking back at old posts.  From turquoise to navy, here are a few of the ways I have worn blue over the last few years.  Which are your favorites?

Anyway, do you guys have any fun plans for the weekend?  Tomorrow I am headed to a Colorado Avalanche (hockey) game with R and his co-workers for a kind of office night out, which should be fun! I have only been to one Avs game before, but since dating R for the past almost three years, I have definitely come to appreciate the game more.  While I still don't usually understand most of whats going on, the games are always exciting!  He's an avid Flyers fan, but its still fun to go out and support your local teams once in awhile.  Plus anything that involves beards and beer is okay with me! ;)
Have a great weekend!
