So, when I sat down to think, oh, what would my blog readers really like to see, it came to me: Pictures of me before I head off to work at 8am! Throw in some 30 degree temperatures, grey skies, and a few hail pellets here and there and here I am! For your sake I am at least giving my best effort at pretending to be happy. I think the bewildered-deer-in-the-headlights close up gives away my true feelings a little bit though...If you know me in person you would recognize that as my fake smile but actually about to cry face.

Another really really exciting thing is that I am actually wearing PANTS on the blog! I actually wear pants (as opposed to skirts or dresses, not as opposed to going naked) multiple times a week, but for some reason those rarely get photographed. Its honestly been pretty difficult finding any time during the week to take pictures because it pitch black by the time I get home from work, so I have been resorting to weekend pictures or this dreadful experiment of before-work shots. I am sure most of you can relate between jobs and school and everyone's busy schedules!
Since Thanksgiving has passed, its okay that I am decked full out in red and green holiday cheer! In both floral and plaid nonetheless. I have actually been wearing Christmas socks for at least a month now, but Thanksgiving seems to be the official date where you are encouraged to be outwardly festive afterward. I picked up these velvety black pants from Target this weekend to pair with my ever-growing collection of cozy sweaters, so you may be seeing more of them! Anyway, I hope this week is going speedily for you and you are getting into the holiday spirit. Do you have any fun crafts planned or themed parties to attend? If you post about them I would love to see!
Hi Friends! I am guest posting on the lovely Lindsey's blog Hello, Mr. Rabbit today! I am giving you a little tour to downtown Boulder where I live and would love if you stopped by to say hello! And remember, you still have time to get 25% off in my vintage shop until tomorrow evening with the code CYBER25 :)
It feels like I have not blogged in quite some time. Last week I was just not feeling up to it for a few reasons, but I am so glad to be back! I hope everyone had a great long holiday weekend. I ate so much I didn't know if I would be able to button my jeans this morning, but lucky for me they had a high enough spandex content. Since I myself did not have family in town this weekend, I got to spend a lot of much needed time on the shop! Here is some recently added vintage, and I will be adding new things every day this week! You can click the link or image to be taken directly to the listing!

I will leave you with two little instagrams of what I wore to Thanksgiving dinner (dress in the shop this week) and my new holiday packaging! Let me know what you think of the packaging, I was trying to go for a simple yet pretty wintery look! Anyway, I cannot wait to catch up with all of your blogs and read about your holidays!
Did you have a good weekend? Mine was way too short and busy, but this is only a three day week so I can totally handle it. Or so I keep telling myself.

This is what I wore this weekend to run around doing a million things. When I saw this striped maxi in the awesome vintage shop Salvaged Strawberry, I just had to have it! I have never really worn maxi dresses in the winter before, but thought this could be a piece for any season. And let's be honest, anything that is as comfy as wearing a sweatsuit but you don't look like a complete slob in, I am totally down for. I originally thought I may hem it, but now I am thinking I really like it as is! Between the velvet floral dress last week and this outfit, I have really been rocking the 90s lately haha. The lovely Amanda of Salvaged Strawberry even sent me some extra goodies in my package and it was wrapped adorably. Definitely make sure to take a peek at her blog and shop!
I apologize if I have not been responding to comments as much! I usually scroll through blogs in between tasks at work, but the internet at my work is slow as molasses. I'm working on it!
Happy Friday! This post got kind of lost in the mix for a few weeks. If you are wondering why my hair keeps changing lengths overnight, it is because these are from mid October before I cut it again! This is my very last post from the weekend I spent with family and friends in Breckenridge. These were taken on a beautiful walk full of jokes and sunshine!
Dress: Vintage in shop (Sold)!

How adorable is the little baby bear Ina (pronounced Ee-nah)?! She is the daughter of our really good family friends and I was so excited to get to know her a little better! Karyn (her mom) actually was my babysitter starting when I was teeny tiny and she was only 13 years old! I plan on being Ina's crazy aunt.
Do you guys have any fun plans for the weekend? For anyone who also has a shop or small business, I am sure you guys are feeling like its holiday crunch time like I am! Sometimes my ambitious feelings do not actually translate to real life though and my shop goes untouched while I shovel food and beverages in my mouth all weekend long. Oops. Sometimes good intentions don't go as far as I'd hope they would. But cheers to Friday, hopefully being productive, and a short work week next week!
